SoLoStandBy Terms Addendum

These terms apply specifically to the SoLoStandBy application and supplement the main SoLoVision Terms of Service.

1. Our Relationship with SoLoVision

SoLoStandBy is a product of SoLoVision LLC. This document explains terms specific to SoLoStandBy. By using SoLoStandBy, you also agree to the master SoLoVision Terms of Service, which covers our overall legal foundations, IP ownership, and liability.

2. Services Provided

SoLoStandBy transforms your Android device into a smart display while charging. This includes:

  • Display of various clock styles (Digital, Analog, Flip).
  • Integration of widgets for Weather and Calendar events.
  • "Always On" display functionality during charging sessions.
  • Customizable visual themes and night mode settings.

3. Screen Health & Burn-In Warning

IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING OLED SCREENS:

SoLoStandBy is designed to keep your screen active for long periods. While we implement burn-in protection features (such as pixel shifting), extensive use of "Always On" displays on OLED/AMOLED screens carries an inherent risk of image persistence or "burn-in."

By using SoLoStandBy, you acknowledge this risk. SoLoVision LLC is not liable for any hardware damage, screen burn-in, or display degradation that may occur from the use of this application. We recommend using the "Night Mode" and strictly enabling burn-in protection settings.

4. Battery & Power Usage

SoLoStandBy is intended to be used while your device is connected to a power source. Using this app on battery power alone will significantly drain your battery. SoLoVision LLC is not responsible for data loss or alarms/notifications missed due to battery depletion.

5. Third-Party Data Accuracy

Information displayed in widgets (such as Weather conditions or Calendar events) is retrieved from your device's system services or third-party providers. We do not guarantee the real-time accuracy or availability of this external data.
