SoLoScreenSnap Privacy Addendum

1. Our Relationship with SoLoVision

SoLoScreenSnap is a desktop utility developed by SoLoVision LLC. This document explains privacy practices specific to SoLoScreenSnap. By using SoLoScreenSnap, you also agree to the master SoLoVision Privacy Policy, which sets out our platform data protection commitments.

2. Information We Collect Specific to SoLoScreenSnap

SoLoScreenSnap is built with a local-first, privacy-respecting architecture:

• Layouts & Preferences: Your window snap grids, overlay orientations, monitor bindings, and hotkeys are stored locally on your device in standard JSON files.
• No Screen or Keystroke Recording: SoLoScreenSnap positions desktop windows based on cursor drag coordinates. It does not record keystrokes, capture screen content, read window titles, or monitor application contents.
• No Account Needed: SoLoScreenSnap does not require an account, sign-in, or cloud profile. There is no cloud layout sync, and the layouts you build are never uploaded to us.
• Local Diagnostic Log: A bounded diagnostic log records technical snapping events so a failed or incorrect window move can be troubleshot. It stays in the app's local data directory unless you choose to open and share it with support.

3. Third-Party Integrations & Infrastructure

SoLoScreenSnap uses trusted, privacy-aligned services:

• Cloudflare: The public website and release downloads are served through Cloudflare, which may process request information such as IP address, browser type, requested path, timing, and security signals to deliver and protect the service. The desktop application does not contact this service in order to operate.
• Customer Support: Chatwoot and email support channels at [email protected] to assist with installation, troubleshooting, and bug reports.
• Website Monitoring: The SoLoVision website may use privacy-limited error monitoring with default personal-data collection disabled, plus hosting-level uptime monitoring. The desktop application carries no product telemetry.

4. Data Retention & Deletion

Because SoLoScreenSnap is local-first:

• You can remove all local configurations, custom layouts, and the local diagnostic log at any time by deleting the application's data directory or uninstalling the app.
• SoLoScreenSnap keeps no server-side copy of your layouts or settings, so there is no account or cloud data to delete. Questions about this addendum can be sent to [email protected].
